Jan Frichot, (pronounced Fri-show` with short i) is a professional singer, motivational speaker and educator. Jan grew up singing gospel music in her home church and made her first record at the age of two. She performed with gospel greats like the Gaithers, family members of Sandi Patty and recorded with "The Singing Servants." After a 23 year hiatus Jan returned to singing and has made a stunning comeback gaining national and international attention.

and famous authors, (pictured here with Jan) the late Og Mandino, The Greatest Salesman in the World,

In June 1992, Jan was asked to perform for the United Nations Earth Summit Meetings held in Rio de Janeiro. She sang at meetings hosting Claes Nobel, Bella Abzug and numerous leaders from virtually every nation in the world. While there Jan had the honor of being invited to perform before 30,000 people at Earth Concert Rio.

From the insert to Jan's new CD, "Best Friends" (a CD with kids in mind)

"Hi, I'm Jan Frichot, known to nine wonderful grandangels as "Mimi." In fact, all of their friends also call me Mimi.
This CD is a family project of me singing with my grandchildren. It is intended to bless your heart! Two songs were recorded when they were much younger, as you can see by the ages next to their names on the songlist. The precious voices of these kids who have come right from volleyball practice, cheerleading, baseball, gymnastics, softball, basketball, piano or scholastic meets are the stars of this CD. They are not professionals but they have more heart and soul than you could capture in a bottle! They put their all into this recording just for you! I also invited two little friends to join us on a couple of songs. Their names are all listed with the songs they sing.
It is my hope that YOU will sing these songs with your parents, grandparents, or if you are a parent with your children. Everyone loves to sing and so many of you do not because you think you can't! God loves to hear us sing His praises and lift up His name. So sing!! You can do it!
